POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist with practical experience in Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance. In this role, you will help a leading manufacturing software vendor assess and improve the cybersecurity posture of its products in accordance with upcoming European regulatory requirements. You will work closely with engineering teams to review existing practices, identify compliance gaps, provide recommendations, and support the CRA compliance process.

LOCATION: Ukraine (remote)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Security Compliance, or related roles.

EDUCATION:

BS or MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Practical experience with Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance activities and regulatory requirements
  • Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments, audits, or compliance reviews
  • Understanding of software security principles and secure software development practices
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance processes
  • Ability to identify compliance gaps and provide actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency

NICE TO HAVE: 

  • Experience with IEC 62443 standards
  • Experience preparing compliance roadmaps and implementation plans
  • Previous experience working with industrial, manufacturing, or engineering software products
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices

DUTIES: 

  • Review existing product development and security processes from a CRA compliance perspective
  • Assess cybersecurity risks and identify compliance gaps
  • Provide recommendations for improving compliance with CRA requirements
  • Support the creation and execution of a CRA compliance roadmap
  • Collaborate with software engineers and technical stakeholders to address identified security and compliance issues
  • Participate in regular project meetings and provide cybersecurity guidance
  • Monitor compliance-related activities and report findings, risks, and recommendations
  • Help ensure alignment of the product with current and upcoming EU cybersecurity regulations
