POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

We're looking for an engineer who understands CAD systems from the inside — someone with hands-on design engineering experience who has since moved into QA.

As a CAD Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll help ensure the quality of advanced CAD/BIM software. You'll build automated tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and use AI tools to improve testing speed and coverage.

LOCATION: Pune (India)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Design Engineer with proficiency in CAD software
• 3+ years of practical experience in Quality Assurance roles with a strong focus on CAD systems

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial or Product Design, or a related engineering field.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Hands-on experience with CAD/BIM systems such as Revit, SOLIDWORKS, Creo, CATIA V5, NX, AutoCAD, etc.
• Proficiency in manual testing
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automated tests
• Proficiency in a programming language (Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, etc.)
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience using AI tools to speed up test creation, debugging, or analysis
• Good spoken and written English

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain detailed, structured test documentation
• Prepare reusable test data, including 3D models and CAD/BIM drawings
• Crate manual and automated tests according to defined strategies
• Identify gaps in test coverage and improve automation effectiveness
• Perform exploratory testing for complex CAD workflows
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to defect prevention
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze execution results to improve the reliability and clarity of test feedback
• Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, and requirements analysis etc.
• Participate in requirements analysis and refinement, ensuring requirements are clear and testable
