AMC Bridge Announced 3D Graphics Programming Course

AMC Bridge launches Intensive Course on 3D Programming and Computer Graphics for students of 2nd-5th year of study in Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Khmelnytskyi National University and Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

3D Programming and Computer Graphics aims to teach students the basics of CAD application creation from scratch, as well as how to use the main design patterns. In this course, participants will learn how to work with technologies such as graphics libraries and COLLADA, the interchange file format for interactive 3D applications. Upon the completion, students will write a simple mesh editor. This resulting application will allow loading and editing COLLADA mesh files that are now used by many major modeling packages and real-time graphics engines.

“Within the framework of our partnership with several Ukrainian universities, we have prepared a new course soon to be launched in AMC Bridge Engineering Programming Centers. The program of this intensive course is made by our technical specialists, who are well experienced in 3D modeling and development of the corresponding applications. Our primary goal is not to provide students only with theoretical information but to let them to implement the acquired knowledge into practice and to develop their skills during their university studies”, said Serhii Fomin, Director of AMC Bridge Information Technologies Department.
