AMC Bridge Engineering Programming Center Has Been Opened in Sumy State University

AMC Bridge and Sumy State University have signed a partnership agreement over a year ago and since then cooperation between the company and the university has been continuously expanding: last semester joint educational project has been launched and since October 27 AMC Bridge Engineering Programming Center has been opened.

Lectures for students, as well as company’s specialized courses will be held in the Center. Serhii Fomin, Director of AMC Bridge Information Technologies Department, Yuriy Mikhaylovskiy, Director of the Company Regional Development Centers, Volodymyr Lyubchak, SSU Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogic Work and Serhii Protsenko, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies of SSU took part in the opening ceremony.

“We are very grateful for opening such a center in the university, especially for support of the engineering branch, as university has started from the engineering specialities”, Volodymyr Lyubchak noted.

Serhii Fomin also held the presentation for the students devoted to the choice of the specialization in IT sphere. He made an overview of the modern trends of the Ukrainian IT market and gave some advices how to choose the direction of a further work.

“Our company develops engineering software and always support Ukrainian universities. Young prospective specialists are graduating from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies, so we are doing our best to make them learn new technologies. Students and graduates are taking part in the scientific researches of our company and starting from 4-5 years they can start working on the customers’ project and to get the real experience which raises their qualification”, Serhii noted.
